An emotional and beautiful journey home

After spending days in the thin mountain air, flying back over the same trails felt emotional. The view of the Khumbu Valley from above was breathtaking — tiny bridges, waterfalls, and snowy ridges everywhere. It made me appreciate the entire journey even more.

Nepal Helicopter Service made sure we were comfortable and safe. The pilot even slowed down near Everest for a better look. It’s an experience I’ll never forget.
