From the moment we lifted off the helipad at Tengboche, we were treated to spectacular views of the Everest region and beyond. The whole flight from Tengboche to Kathmandu via helicopter felt like gliding over a national park of the sky. Mountains, glaciers, valleys, and the monastery of Tengboche came into view like postcards.
Nepal Helicopter Service had top-notch staff, a smooth helicopter, and a pilot who even hovered for photo opportunities. The comfort and scale of the scenery combined made this one of the most unforgettable rides of our lives.
