We expected a simple helicopter ride, but the Tengboche to Kathmandu flight with Nepal Helicopter Service felt unexpectedly luxurious. The cabin, the scenery, the pilot commentary combined to elevate the trip. We watched the Khumbu glaciers drift beneath us, and the morning light made Everest and Lhotse glisten.
The entire experience was smooth and professional. One of my favourite travel moments ever.
