Fast and scenic return to Kathmandu valley

We opted for the helicopter from Tengboche to Kathmandu to avoid several more days of descent on foot. It proved to be a brilliant choice. The morning skies were perfect, and the flight offered continuous views of jagged peaks and deep gorges. Each ripple of ridge gave way to another spectacle.

Nepal Helicopter Service kept the flight elegant and safe. The pilot was experienced and friendly, giving commentary on key mountains like Ama Dablam and Everest. The smooth arrival in Kathmandu wrapped up our trek perfectly.
