From Lukla to Kathmandu – A Luxurious Way Home

After days of trekking through dust, rocks, and cold air, the helicopter flight from Lukla to Kathmandu felt like pure luxury. The Nepal Helicopter Service team welcomed us warmly and handled our luggage with care. The pilot explained the route as we flew over Namche Bazaar and the Dudh Koshi River. The one-hour journey was filled with endless beauty. Rajan Neupane deserves credit for arranging this so efficiently. It’s truly the best way to return to Kathmandu after the mountains.
