Morning Annapurna Helicopter Flight – Sunrise Over the Himalayas

The sunlight painted the peaks in shades of gold and rose as we flew toward Annapurna Base Camp. I could see the full range—Annapurna I, II, III, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, and Gangapurna—all in a single panorama. Landing at the base camp was peaceful; we sipped tea, breathed in the cold air, and took endless photos. The return flight gave us one last look at Phewa Lake glimmering below.
