I was a little nervous before takeoff, but the professionalism of the Nepal Helicopter Service crew immediately put me at ease. The Lukla to Kathmandu helicopter ride was smooth, scenic, and unforgettable. The mountains sparkled beneath us in the morning sun.
This was easily the most beautiful flight I have ever taken. The pilot pointed out different peaks as we passed, and the landing in Kathmandu was flawless.
