The best way to witness Gokyo Lakes

After reaching Gorakshep, we chose the helicopter flight to Gokyo Lake, and it was the highlight of our Nepal trip. The contrast between the rocky Khumbu region and the serene blue lakes of Gokyo was simply magical. The entire flight felt smooth and well-timed, with no turbulence even at high altitude.

Nepal Helicopter Service deserves all the praise — their communication, organization, and safety standards were excellent. Seeing Gokyo Lakes appear beneath us was a dream moment I’ll never forget.
