Luxury helicopter back to Kathmandu after trekking

We celebrated completing our hike around Tengboche with the Tengboche to Kathmandu Helicopter Flight. The early departure offered perfect lighting on the mountains, and the helicopter ride felt almost like a reward. The valleys and high ridges looked so different from above — entirely new, entirely stunning.

The team from Nepal Helicopter Service were polished and proactive. From comfort pillows to expert navigation through cloud layers, I felt safe and pampered. The landing in Kathmandu was smooth and swift, giving us time to rest and reflect on the entire journey. A wonderful experience.
